AESG Annual Pancake Race 2019
This morning, Pancake Day 2019, Alderley Edge School for Girls pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 took part in their annual pancake race, with the help of our Sixth Form pupils and staff cheering them on.
The pupils arranged themselves into teams reflecting their four houses, St. Francis, St. Joan, St. Hilary’s and St. Emilie’s. Each girl had to take it in turns to run to their team mate, flipping the pancake on route without dropping it!
Well done to all of the competitors, it was a tough race! Congratulations to the winners, St. Hilary’s! Points won from this event add to the all-important total at the end of the academic year.
