150,000 children in Manchester do not expect a visit from Santa this year. They live in poverty and their parents can’t afford Christmas presents for them.  Key 103 Cash for Kids helped disabled and disadvantaged children across Manchester last year and hope to do even better by launching Mission Christmas 2013 – they want to raise £1 million worth of toys. You can help by buying just one extra present this year – a gift that will make a child happy this Christmas. The charity is looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers aged 0 to 18 years.

The Kumon Study Centre in Sale is joining forces with organisations across Manchester to collect toys for children living in poverty. Kumon families and staff members will be donating new toys as part of the Key 103 Radio Cash for Kids – Mission Christmas appeal. The Study Centre in Sale is an official drop-off point for the campaign, giving local families a chance to participate and ensure even more children in their city have a very happy Christmas.
