Autumn-2022 issue of M&D Magazine is out!

M&D Magazine is being sent out now to schools, nurseries, libraries, shops. Those who’d like to read it on paper will be able to find it in all the usual distribution points. If reading from screen is more your thing, we have digital copies and the website to keep you in the know.
Meanwhile here is the word from Zoe Drobnis, the M&D editor.

“From one heatwave to another, this summer was very Mediterranean (Sub-Saharan?). But whether you liked it or loathed it, it’s behind us. Now, instead of worrying about cooling our houses down we can start fretting about warming them up, while getting constant updates about the cost of living crisis, inflation and various strikes. The frequency and variety of bad news seems to be increasing and multiplying nowadays, and we are all trying to find something constant to rely upon, to help us through the uncertainties of life.

I always find September reassuring. It’s a ‘back to the routine’ time with some flavour of novelty (new academic year) and anticipation (Halloween, Christmas). We may have an Indian summer, if we are lucky, and some decent weather is usually expected this time of the year, even if we are not. To help you enjoy this autumn, we’ve gathered plenty of information on how to have frightening and/or festive fun (watch this space for the posts devoted to Halloween, Christmas and as always our Events Watch) and how to help your child’s educational success (physics, maths, literacy and school open days – it’s all covered).

We update our website regularly, so you can always take part in one of our competitions, if you’re feeling lucky; find a great product chosen by one of our readers; or have a go at reviewing products or services yourself, if a bit of creative writing is your thing. Whether you read M&D on paper, digitally, or online this autumn – enjoy it!”
