Easter Eco Explorers of Eureka! take actions
Join Eureka! Children’s Museum this Easter as they focus on what we can do to celebrate and look after planet Earth through hands-on activities, storytelling sessions and creative crafts.
- Watch a series of nature inspired short films as part of the Leeds Young Film Festival in the end of March and beginning of April.
- Take part in fair andf unky SCRAPtastic workshops and create a piece of Spring themed art using only recycled materials.
- See if you can help Save The Planet with Same Difference Arts across Easter weekend.
- Become Eco-Warriors with Heifer Productions and find out how to look after our green spaces.
- Find out how to save the bees and learn about our ecosystems, wildlife, and other pollinators with Springfield Park Bees CIC.
- Visit the Climate Action Trail on March 23rd or April 14th to see how climate change is affecting different habitats and the positive things we can do to help combat this.
Every year on 22nd April the world comes together on Earth Day to celebrate our planet, to promote climate change actions, and to protect the environment. The Easter Eco Explorers of Eureka! will start their action program this weekend and it will last till the end of the Easter school holidays.
