Food Festival Fever Hits Bolton Market Place
Food fun will arrive at Market Place Shopping Centre this Bank Holiday weekend as part of Bolton 9th Food and Drink Festival.
As one of the main sponsors of the hugely-popular annual event, the town centre shopping hub has planned a weekend that will cater for everyone’s tastes including cocktail masterclasses, kids food challenges and celebrity chef appearances at the Regional Chef Marquee, on Corporation Street.
A designated pop-up food stage will play host to Debbie Hall-Evans’ Kids Cookery School where Channel 4 ‘The Taste’ star will guide youngsters in the art of creating delicious treats.
Jonny Cocktail will also host cocktail masterclasses throughout the weekend giving those who love a tipple, an interactive insiders guide to how to make the perfect cocktail.
Bolton Food and Drink Festival will run from Friday, August 22 until Monday, August 25. Tickets cost £10 and are available via the Festival’s website www.boltonfoodanddrinkfestival.com.
Market Place retailers will also be handing out free tasty samples and entertainers will be dotted in the centre throughout the weekend.
