Greenbank Prep: Outstanding Y6’s Entrance Exams.
Year 6 pupils at Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery are celebrating their outstanding examination results.
The Year 6 children at the top independent preparatory school on Heathbank Road in Cheadle Hulme won two academic scholarships, one music scholarship, one academic high potential programme and two sports high potential programmes from top schools across the region.
Year 6 Teacher, Mrs Reeder said: “I am thrilled with the results from Y6’s Entrance Examinations. They are a testament to the tireless hard work of my pupils to do their very best in every challenge they were faced with. I am so pleased that their dedication and efforts have paid off and given them the results they deserve. These offers of secured places at a range of selective schools prove that every child has the opportunity to achieve great things at Greenbank, and I am extremely proud of my superstars!”
Headteacher, Mr Johnson added: “We are immensely proud of our pupils. They have worked extremely hard and deserve the many offers they have received.
At some point during the process, every child has faced a challenge, but our staff have been with them every step of the way, and they have come through with flying colours. We know our pupils well and we have an excellent relationship with a wide range of senior schools. This means we can match our pupils’ characteristics and abilities to the right school for them.
Our Year 6 children can now look forward to making the most of the many opportunities on offer during their remaining time at Greenbank.”
