SnapWatch is the super cool way to tell the time this Christmas! This brand new little wearable, which features flexible display technology, can simply be snapped around a wrist and stay there securely without a buckle!
From smart clothing to virtual reality devices and fitness trackers, wearable technology continues to evolve. The increase of wearables in our personal lives is now becoming more exciting for consumers and businesses. None of the current products in the market, however, offer a totally flexible display. SnapWatch plans to change all that with their first generation super cool, super flexible and super lightweight watch designed for the kids market.
The SnapWatch design has long been in development, but for some time the only flexible display technology available was electro-luminescent – which proved to be too power-hungry and the drive circuitry too cumbersome for use in wearables. Now, more suitable displays such as LEDs and OLEDs are available.
Armed with new technology and patents in the UK, USA, China, Europe and India, SnapWatch has broken a lot of barriers. This innovative watch is a first, and sports a truly flexible LED display with an integral snapband feature which allows it to work straight and rigid or wrapped around the wrist. And no need for a buckle or other fastener either. How flexible is that?
There are six options; two plain designs – Icy Black and Spring Purple, and four with fun character graphics – Sharkies, Astronauts, Dragons and Unicorns.
The SnapWatch is designed for kids aged 5-12, and requires no software or app. It features easy control buttons for 12/24 time, seconds, date and month.
The bright daytime LED display has big numbers which are easily read and remembered – particularly helpful for visual learners.
For outdoor fun and games, the SnapWatch forms are soft touch silicone, and are lightweight, splashproof and shockproof. A replaceable battery with two years of life is included – so they’re all ready for action!
