Hape DJ Mix & Spin Studio: From Silly Sounds to Classic Tunes

Hape launches its DJ Mix & Spin Studio, a portable deck with keyboard, scratch-pad and colourful flashing lights. Younger children will have fun exploring rhythms, melodies and spinning their first tunes as they play around with music, whilst older children can pump up the jam with DJ sound effects.

The DJ Mix & Spin Studio lets children discover the fun of music, develop their musical talent and explore rhythm and sound, making it a fun musical learning toy for early childhood:
· 12mths – 18mths: tap the buttons, create and listen to the quirky sounds
· 18mths – 3yrs: twist and turn the knobs and play the keyboard
· 3yrs – 5yrs+: enjoy DJ mixing and composing

Children can switch the sound of the 18-key keyboard to one of four instruments – piano, guitar, organ or drums; or for cool sounds spin the disc on the DJ station to scratch and play DJ sound effects. There are five classic tunes to play in the background or remix, and features include an awesome light effect, adjustable tempo slider to change the speed, and two volume levels.

The silly mode with its 18 funny sound effects, such as a beeping horn, oinking pig and farting noise, is sure to be a hit!

For an easy start, little ones can play along to well-known nursery rhymes, such as I’m a Little Teapot, and The Wheels on the Bus, with the help of the colour coded music book and sticker notes for the keyboard keys.
