Forest School is a child-centred learning process, that offers chances for holistic development. Holistic means ‘whole’ – and Forest School is about our teachers enabling the development of the whole person. This includes emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, communication and language development.
🍂𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓲𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓸𝓵 𝓻𝓾𝓷?
Through regular sessions, our Forest School teachers aim to develop all the above characteristics in a low-intervention manner to develop confidence and self-esteem. This is built through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
🌲𝓦𝓱𝓸 𝓻𝓾𝓷𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓸𝓵?
We have three fully qualified Level 3 Forest School teachers, Mrs Bradbury, Mr Hart and Mrs Staples, who develop and run the sessions together.
