Family Day at Manchester Animation Festival 2019
Manchester Animation Festival announces Family Day, Sunday 10th November. The Festival’s program includes:
- A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon
- Shorts include Rebel Girls – Moon Landing: The Story of Margaret Hamilton, Partridge in a Bear Tree & Papergee and the Spider.
- Lego Stop motion Workshop
Manchester Animation Festival’s (MAF) Family Day, will take place on Sunday 10 November, 10:00-15:00 at HOME on Manchester’s First Street.
As part of its brand-new five-day format, MAF Family Day returns inviting children and families for a day of animated fun including Short Films for Children, a collection of the best in animated shorts from around the world and a screening of A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
The Festival, now in its fifth year, is the largest animation festival in the UK, and its packed programme includes animated short competitions, feature films, retrospective screenings, workshops, networking events, panel discussions, masterclasses and Making Ofs from some of the brightest and best talent in the industry.

Lego Stop Motion Workshop
10:30 – 12:30 + 13:30 – 15:30
This two-hour fun, creative and hands-on LEGO stop-motion workshop is the perfect activity to get you to discover and show off your creative talents by creating a stop-motion animation movie.

Colour Me MAF

As well as screenings we’ll have pictures available for colouring throughout the day from all the amazing films that you can see during Family Day!
